Standing over four meters tall, the Sky Reaching Pole sculpture series is a visual spectacle. Each pole features different figures, reenacting the ceremonies and dances that once entertained dignitaries from around the world. The abstract and contemporary design, with its metallic color palette, adds a touch of modernity to the ancient art form.

Created using a combination of copper, resin, plating processing, and 316 mirror stainless steel, the sculptures are meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the Tang Dynasty acrobatics. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials ensure the longevity and durability of these magnificent artworks.

Installed at the entrance of the Xi'an W Hotel, the Sky Reaching Pole sculpture series serves as a gateway to a parallel time and space, transporting visitors to the Tang Dynasty. The Sky Reaching Pole project began in the summer of 2017 in Xi'an and was completed in August 2018. Since then, the W Hotel has been welcoming guests for over a year, offering them a unique and captivating experience that combines contemporary art with historical traditions.

Recognized for its exceptional design and artistic merit, the Sky Reaching Pole sculpture series was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2020. This prestigious accolade celebrates the sculpture's innovative and practical design, which seamlessly integrates industry best practices and technical excellence.
